Platinum Equity completed the acquisition of Owens & Minor’s Products & Healthcare Services (P&HS) segment, creating a privately held standalone company operating under the Owens & Minor brand. The seller retained a 5% equity stake, and the acquired business is expected to be rebranded as Accendra Health, Inc. effective December 31, 2025.
Hive Holdings Inc. acquired FLUENT Corporation’s Pennsylvania dispensary operations (three retail locations in Hanover, Mechanicsburg and Annville) for $12.5 million in cash in a transaction effective December 31, 2025. FLUENT said the divestiture was intended to strengthen its balance sheet, reduce leverage and sharpen strategic focus after federal rescheduling of marijuana; Hive will operate the acquired Pennsylvania retail locations going forward.
Johnson & Johnson completed its acquisition of Halda Therapeutics OpCo, Inc. for $3.05 billion in cash. The deal brings Halda’s proprietary RIPTAC platform and its clinical-stage prostate cancer therapy HLD-0915, along with earlier-stage RIPTAC candidates for other solid tumors, into J&J’s oncology portfolio.
VMG Health, a healthcare consulting firm backed by Incline Equity Partners, announced its acquisition of Burrows Consulting. The deal is designed to expand VMG Health’s support for community-based healthcare organizations, particularly around funding strategy and reimbursement optimization. The acquisition was effective December 23, 2025.
