Artisan Design Group (a portfolio company of The Sterling Group) has acquired Accents & Interiors, a Woodinville, Washington-based provider of flooring and solid-surface products and installation. The acquisition expands ADG's presence in the greater Puget Sound / Western Washington single-family market and adds countertops and window-covering capabilities to ADG's product offering.

TA Associates to Acquire Surfaces Group from Astorg

TA Associates has signed a binding agreement to acquire Surfaces Group, the Italy-headquartered global supplier of abrasive tools and consumables, from private equity firm Astorg. Surfaces Group, based in Cenate Sotto, Italy, generates over €100 million in sales, employs more than 500 people across 13 production plants and multiple international subsidiaries, and the deal is expected to close in Q4 2020 subject to customary conditions.

International Designs Group Acquires Trajus Surfaces

International Designs Group LLC (an Atlanta-based platform backed by Mill Point Capital) has acquired Trajus Surfaces, LLC, a distributor of engineered quartz and natural stone serving the Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern United States. The add-on expands IDG's geographic footprint and product portfolio by bringing together Trajus’ brands (European Granite & Marble and Marva Marble) with IDG’s existing slab and tile distribution and showroom network.
