Innova Capital Acquires 51% Stake in EMI Group

Innova Capital acquired a 51% stake in Romanian-Belgian EMI Group on 30 June 2023 via a partial buy-out and a EUR 15 million capital increase, joining founder Jerome France and existing investor Morphosis Capital. The investment will fund a buy-and-build strategy—including add-on acquisitions—to expand EMI's installation and maintenance platform for industrial access solutions across Europe.

LSI Industries Acquires EMI Industries for $50 Million

LSI Industries Inc. (NASDAQ: LYTS) acquired Florida-based EMI Industries, a metal and millwork manufacturer of store fixtures, displays, and food service equipment, for $50 million in cash. The acquisition broadens LSI's retail fixture and food equipment capabilities, adds more than 300 employees and five U.S. production facilities, and is expected to be immediately accretive to adjusted EPS while creating cross-selling and operational synergy opportunities across grocery, convenience store and restaurant end markets.

Mobix Labs Acquires SCP Manufacturing

The transaction — Mobix's second strategic acquisition in 60 days and expected to close in Q2 2025 — is intended to expand Mobix's manufacturing capabilities, improve margins and accelerate growth across high-reliability end markets.

Mobix Labs Acquires RaGE Systems

(Nasdaq: MOBX) signed a definitive agreement to acquire RaGE Systems, Inc., a Massachusetts-based radio frequency design and contract manufacturing firm, in a deal consisting of approximately $2.0M cash, $10.0M in stock and up to $8.0M in potential earn-outs. The acquisition is intended to expand Mobix Labs' RF and mmWave design and manufacturing capabilities, accelerate product development for 5G/mmWave and related markets, and immediately contribute to revenue and EPS; the deal is expected to close in May 2024.
