ASSA ABLOY has acquired Premier Steel Doors and Frames, a Monroe, Louisiana-based manufacturer of hollow metal doors and frames, metal building door systems, and aluminium windows. Premier has about 90 employees and reported approximately $40 million in sales for 2023; ASSA ABLOY says the acquisition strengthens its product portfolio and presence in the southern US and will be accretive to EPS.

Swedish access-solutions leader ASSA ABLOY has acquired Metal Products Inc. (MPI), a US manufacturer of custom hollow metal doors and frames headquartered in Corbin, Kentucky. MPI, founded in 1980, has about 170 employees and reported approximately $22 million in sales for 2024; the acquisition is intended to expand ASSA ABLOY’s product offering and strengthen its regional US footprint and delivery capabilities.

EAC operates two facilities in Belding and Kentwood, Michigan with approximately 170 employees; the deal advances Metra's North American expansion and end‑market diversification, including entry into utility‑grade solar.
