Exile Content Studio, part of Candle Media, has acquired a majority interest in the Lil' Heroes NFT franchise by purchasing Curatible's stake. The move gives Exile control of the IP as the franchise — which launched in January 2022 and generated over $60 million in trading volume with an 80,000+ Discord community — pursues spin-off NFT drops, merchandise, and an animated TV series with Creative7/Carmelo Anthony.

Rogue Matter, a Los Angeles-based digital-first studio, announced the acquisition of several content and distribution assets — including the Secrets of the Sire podcast/network (renamed Rogue Wav), YouTube channel Epic Level TV, Twitch gaming show BadCoyoteFunky (rebranded Button Smash), and pop-culture platform MovieSpoon. The deals bring podcast, video, social and gaming audiences and creators into Rogue Matter to accelerate its content, distribution and multi-platform capabilities.

Industry Dive Acquires NewsCred's Content Marketing Studio and Services

Industry Dive, a portfolio company of Falfurrias Capital Partners, acquired NewsCred’s Content Marketing studio and services business, including assets, people and clients, while NewsCred will retain its software products. The deal transfers a team of about 40 former NewsCred employees to Industry Dive (to be led by Jane Qin Medeiros) and was supported by unitranche financing from Stellus Capital Management.
