EQT Private Equity (via its EQT X fund) has signed a definitive agreement to acquire BTRS Holdings Inc. (Billtrust), a B2B accounts receivable automation and integrated payments leader. The transaction represents a PE buyout of the Nasdaq-listed company to accelerate growth and expand capabilities in AR automation and payments.

Billtrust Acquires Order2Cash

Billtrust has acquired Netherlands-based Order2Cash, a B2B order-to-cash platform provider, to expand its European footprint and broaden its Business Payments Network (BPN). Order2Cash's enterprise customer base and connections to 70+ B2B and B2G e-invoicing networks will be integrated into Billtrust's SaaS AR automation and payments platform; the Order2Cash team will continue operating from Amsterdam, Joure, Krakow and New York.

Fintech Acquires iControl Systems USA, LLC Assets

Financial Information Technologies, LLC (Fintech) completed an asset acquisition of iControl Systems USA, LLC (iControl), adding iControl’s alcohol invoice payments and scan-based trading technology to Fintech’s PaymentSource platform. The deal, which closed in December 2023, expands Fintech’s retail product portfolio and broadens PaymentSource capabilities beyond alcohol to additional retail categories.

Entrust Corporation acquired HyTrust, Inc., a Mountain View–based provider of virtualized and multi‑cloud data encryption, key management, and cloud security posture management solutions. The acquisition adds encryption, cryptographic key management and cloud security policy capabilities to Entrust’s identity and data protection portfolio; terms were not disclosed.

LeaseAccelerator Acquires LeaseController from Deloitte
