KPS Capital Partners Acquires Norsk Hydro's Aluminum Rolling Business (now Speira)

KPS Capital Partners has agreed to acquire Norsk Hydro ASA's global aluminum rolling business for €1.38 billion (approximately $1.67 billion), with completion expected mid‑2021 subject to customary approvals. The business—operating seven manufacturing facilities and an R&D center (including Alunorf and Grevenbroich) across Germany and Norway and employing roughly 5,000 people—will operate independently under KPS ownership to accelerate growth, invest in assets and technologies, and pursue product development.
