Siderforgerossi Acquires Grupo Euskal Forging

Siderforgerossi Group S.p.A., a portfolio company of KPS Capital Partners, completed the acquisition of Grupo Euskal Forging, S.L., a Spanish manufacturer of forgings and seamless rolled rings headquartered in Irura, Spain. The deal (terms undisclosed) expands Siderforgerossi’s large-diameter forgings capabilities and manufacturing footprint—particularly for the wind power, oil & gas, power transmission and mining end-markets; Euskal Forging operates three facilities and has ~170 employees.

KPS Capital Partners Acquires IKG from Harsco Corporation

KPS Capital Partners, through its KPS Special Situations Mid‑Cap Fund, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the IKG bar grating business from Harsco Corporation for $85 million, subject to customary adjustments. IKG, a Houston‑headquartered manufacturer of steel and aluminum bar grating with ~350 employees and six U.S./Mexico facilities, will become an independent portfolio company under KPS to pursue organic growth and strategic acquisitions.

KPS Capital Partners Acquires Norsk Hydro's Aluminum Rolling Business (now Speira)

KPS Capital Partners has agreed to acquire Norsk Hydro ASA's global aluminum rolling business for €1.38 billion (approximately $1.67 billion), with completion expected mid‑2021 subject to customary approvals. The business—operating seven manufacturing facilities and an R&D center (including Alunorf and Grevenbroich) across Germany and Norway and employing roughly 5,000 people—will operate independently under KPS ownership to accelerate growth, invest in assets and technologies, and pursue product development.

Viessmann Generations Group Acquires KPS Global from D Cubed Group

Viessmann Generations Group, the family-owned Viessmann organization, has completed the acquisition of KPS Global, a Fort Worth-based manufacturer of custom insulated panel systems. The purchase from long-duration investor D Cubed Group will expand Viessmann's Clean & Cold platform into the North American market and support KPS Global's continued growth and operations across its five manufacturing facilities.

KPS Capital Partners Acquires Metra and Profile Custom Extrusions

KPS Capital Partners completed acquisitions of Metra Holding S.p.A. (Italy) and Profile Custom Extrusions, LLC (Rome, GA) and will combine the two businesses to form a global extruded aluminum profile platform. Metra (≈850 employees across Italy and Canada) and Profile (≈170 employees in Rome, GA) offer vertically integrated extrusion and value‑added finishing capabilities across building & construction, industrial and transportation end markets.
