KPS Capital Partners Acquires Siderforgerossi Group S.p.A.

KPS Capital Partners has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Siderforgerossi Group S.p.A., a vertically integrated manufacturer of large-diameter rolled and forged products headquartered in Veneto, Italy. KPS said it will use the business as the basis for a global forged-products platform and pursue organic growth and acquisitions; financial terms were not disclosed.

Forged Solutions Group Acquires Steel Industries

Forged Solutions Group (a portfolio company of Arlington Capital Partners) has acquired Steel Industries, Inc., a Redford, Michigan-based manufacturer of open die forgings and seamless rolled rings. The acquisition expands FSG's forging capabilities, metals expertise and customer relationships across aerospace, defense, space and industrial end markets and will keep Steel Industries' existing management team in place.

Eusider Group Acquires Profiltubi S.p.A. from AUCTUS

Eusider Group has acquired the Profiltubi Group (including O.M.V. Ventura) from private equity investor AUCTUS. Profiltubi, an Italian manufacturer of electrically welded carbon steel pipes with consolidated revenue above €100 million, will join Eusider’s steel service and manufacturing platform to support further growth and market leadership.

KPS Capital Partners has agreed to acquire Norsk Hydro ASA's global aluminum rolling business for €1.38 billion (approximately $1.67 billion), with completion expected mid‑2021 subject to customary approvals. The business—operating seven manufacturing facilities and an R&D center (including Alunorf and Grevenbroich) across Germany and Norway and employing roughly 5,000 people—will operate independently under KPS ownership to accelerate growth, invest in assets and technologies, and pursue product development.

Arlington Capital Partners, via its newly formed aerospace platform Forged Solutions Group (FSG), acquired Firth Rixson Forgings Limited from Arconic. The deal brings Firth Rixson's Sheffield forging capabilities into FSG, creating a multi-facility supplier with expanded manufacturing capacity and complementary capabilities to serve OEM and Tier 1 aerospace & defense engine customers.
