Forged Solutions Group (Arlington Capital) Acquires Firth Rixson Forgings from Arconic

Arlington Capital Partners, via its newly formed aerospace platform Forged Solutions Group (FSG), acquired Firth Rixson Forgings Limited from Arconic. The deal brings Firth Rixson's Sheffield forging capabilities into FSG, creating a multi-facility supplier with expanded manufacturing capacity and complementary capabilities to serve OEM and Tier 1 aerospace & defense engine customers.

Pursuit Aerospace Acquires Larson Forgings

Pursuit Aerospace has completed the acquisition of Larson Forgings, a 130-year-old provider of seamless rolled rings and open-die forgings that serves OEM and Tier 1 aerospace and defense customers. The deal adds rolled ring forging, heat treat and NDT capabilities to Pursuit's manufacturing platform to expand its ability to supply forged aerospace components.

Stonepeak Acquires Forgital Group from The Carlyle Group

Stonepeak has completed its acquisition of Forgital Group, a vertically integrated manufacturer of forged and machined rolled rings for aerospace and industrial end markets, from The Carlyle Group. The deal, announced in Q2 2025 and closed June 30, 2025, positions Stonepeak to invest in Forgital's manufacturing capabilities to capture long-term aerospace demand; John Slattery was appointed Chairman of Forgital's board.

Siderforgerossi Acquires Grupo Euskal Forging

Siderforgerossi Group S.p.A., a portfolio company of KPS Capital Partners, completed the acquisition of Grupo Euskal Forging, S.L., a Spanish manufacturer of forgings and seamless rolled rings headquartered in Irura, Spain. The deal (terms undisclosed) expands Siderforgerossi’s large-diameter forgings capabilities and manufacturing footprint—particularly for the wind power, oil & gas, power transmission and mining end-markets; Euskal Forging operates three facilities and has ~170 employees.

Field Industries Acquires RSD Supply, Inc.

Field Industries, a Houston-based distributor of steel pipe flanges and fittings, acquired RSD Supply, Inc., a Houston-based stocking distributor of flanges, fittings, valves and related items. The transaction, advised by Generational Capital Markets, closed May 15, 2023 and is intended to expand Field Industries' product breadth, service capabilities and scale in petrochemical, oilfield and industrial markets.
