Pursuit Aerospace Acquires Aeromet International

Pursuit Aerospace has acquired Aeromet International from Privet Capital, adding Aeromet’s light-alloy investment and sand-casting capabilities to Pursuit’s existing super-alloy investment casting platform. The deal expands Pursuit’s ability to supply a broader range of castings, forgings and machined assemblies to aerospace and defense OEMs and Tier 1 customers.

Forged Solutions Group Acquires Steel Industries

Forged Solutions Group (a portfolio company of Arlington Capital Partners) has acquired Steel Industries, Inc., a Redford, Michigan-based manufacturer of open die forgings and seamless rolled rings. The acquisition expands FSG's forging capabilities, metals expertise and customer relationships across aerospace, defense, space and industrial end markets and will keep Steel Industries' existing management team in place.

Pursuit Aerospace Acquires Prescott Precision Die and Merc Aerospace

(United Kingdom) to broaden its precision machining capabilities and expand its geographic footprint in the Southwestern U.S. and the U.K. The deals add heat-treatment, nondestructive testing, CMM inspection and plating capabilities to Pursuit's global aircraft engine component manufacturing platform.

Lacks Enterprises Acquires Majority Stake in Forgeline Motorsports

Lacks Enterprises Inc., a family-owned tier-one wheel supplier, has acquired a majority stake in Forgeline Motorsports, a custom forged-aluminum wheel manufacturer based in Dayton, Ohio. The Forgeline co-founders David and Steve Schardt will retain a minority stake; the deal is intended to expand Forgeline's manufacturing and R&D capacity while giving Lacks access to Forgeline's aftermarket expertise and new in-roads to the OEM market.
