PTC (NASDAQ: PTC) has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Arena Solutions, a SaaS product lifecycle management (PLM) platform provider, for $715 million in cash. The acquisition expands PTC’s SaaS product development portfolio—combining Arena’s PLM and quality management capabilities with PTC’s CAD and PLM offerings—to deliver a complete CAD + PLM SaaS solution and accelerate PTC’s leadership in industrial SaaS.

Anju Software Acquires OmniComm Systems

Anju Software, a portfolio company backed by Abry Partners, has completed the acquisition of OmniComm Systems, making OmniComm a wholly owned subsidiary. The deal combines Anju’s life-sciences data platform with OmniComm’s eClinical and EDC solutions to create a more comprehensive eClinical suite and expand capabilities such as CTMS, eTMF, data migration/integration and reporting.

KKR Acquires Omnissa from Broadcom

Global investment firm KKR completed the previously announced acquisition of Omnissa from Broadcom for approximately $4 billion, enabling Omnissa to operate as an independent software company. Omnissa — headquartered in Palo Alto with roughly $1.5 billion ARR, 26,000 customers and 4,000 employees — will receive growth investment from KKR to expand its AI, API and product capabilities for the digital workspace market.

IFS Acquires Ultimo Software Solutions

IFS has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Ultimo Software Solutions, a Netherlands-based provider of cloud Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software. The purchase adds Ultimo’s fast-to-deploy, configurable SaaS EAM point solution and ~180 employees to IFS’s IFS Cloud EAM portfolio, strengthening IFS’s end-to-end and point-solution capabilities; the deal is expected to close in Q3 2022.

Momentive Software Acquires Personify

Momentive Software, a TA Associates-backed platform, has acquired Personify, an Austin-based provider of association management, event management, job board, and member engagement software used by more than 17,000 organizations. The deal expands Momentive’s portfolio of AI-powered, mission-driven SaaS solutions and positions the combined company to serve over 37,000 organizations worldwide with enhanced predictive analytics and integrated platform capabilities.
