Gamber-Johnson Acquires American Aluminum Accessories

Gamber-Johnson, a Main Street Capital portfolio company based in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, has acquired American Aluminum Accessories, Inc., a Perry, Florida-based specialty aluminum manufacturer serving law enforcement, public safety and fleet markets. Skyway Capital Markets advised the sellers (siblings Thomas Swain and Linda Lawson); Jennifer Arnold will continue to lead the Perry facility as General Manager while the business operates as part of the Team GJ family.

Amicus Capital Group Acquires Case Compass

Amicus Capital Group has acquired Case Compass, a SaaS platform that automates client intake and case qualification for law firms. The acquisition combines Case Compass’s platform (including the 2023 Gideon Legal integration) with Amicus’s legal finance and operational support to expand capabilities and streamline intake and onboarding for plaintiff-side firms.

Main Street Provides $30.8M Follow-On to Gamber-Johnson to Support Add-On Acquisition

Main Street Capital completed a $30.8 million first-lien, senior secured term debt follow-on investment in portfolio company Gamber-Johnson Holdings to support Gamber-Johnson's strategic acquisition of a manufacturer of law enforcement and aftermarket truck accessories. The follow-on represents Main Street's sixth additional investment in Gamber-Johnson since initially partnering with the company's management team in June 2016.

The deal brings Premier Mounts into Gamber-Johnson's portfolio as a brand while consolidating manufacturing, warehousing, and corporate oversight at Gamber-Johnson's Central Wisconsin facility to expand product portfolio and capabilities.

GroupBy Inc. Acquires Edgecase

GroupBy Inc., a Toronto-based eCommerce search and merchandising provider, has acquired Austin-based product data enrichment software company Edgecase. The acquisition integrates Edgecase’s product data intelligence into GroupBy’s Searchandiser platform to create an end-to-end site search and merchandising solution; terms were not disclosed.
