Washington Equity Partners Leads Majority Recapitalization of Tube Bending, Inc.

Washington Equity Partners has made a majority investment in Tube Bending, Inc., a California-based manufacturer and fabricator of tubing and tubing assemblies serving aerospace, defense, medical and industrial markets. Plexus Capital and SharpVue Capital provided supporting debt and equity financing; Tube Bending’s president, Bryan Christoffersen, retains a significant ownership stake and will continue to run day-to-day operations. The recapitalization positions Tube Bending to grow organically and via acquisitions as a market-leading tubing platform for aerospace and defense.

Gemini Investors Recapitalizes American Standard Circuits and Acquires The Cable Company

Gemini Investors completed two investments: a recapitalization of American Standard Circuits (a U.S.-based printed circuit board designer and manufacturer) alongside management, and the acquisition of The Cable Company (a specialty online retailer of high-end audio/video cables). Gemini will partner with ASC's management to support the company's manufacturing operations across defense, aerospace, automotive, medical and industrial end markets and will operate The Cable Company as a consumer-facing e-commerce business serving audiophiles.

Arlington Capital Forms Kinetic Engine Systems via Acquisitions of Walbar, Numet and AeroCision

Arlington Capital Partners formed a new platform, Kinetic Engine Systems, by combining the engine assets of its portfolio company Cadence Aerospace with the newly completed acquisitions of Walbar Engine Components, Numet Machining Techniques and AeroCision. The platform will manufacture precision aero-engine components across six centers of excellence located in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Arizona and Mexico to serve OEMs and aftermarket customers in commercial and defense aerospace.

Tiny Capital Ltd. made a growth investment in AeroPress, Inc., the Palo Alto maker of the AeroPress coffee brewer founded by Alan Adler. Adler remains involved and retains ownership; Tiny said the investment will support new product development and expanded marketing while keeping production and the AeroPress team in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Tube Bending Technology, a portfolio company of Washington Equity Partners, has acquired Creative Pathways, Inc., a Torrance, California-based manufacturer of aerospace tube and duct assemblies. Creative Pathways will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary, with existing leadership remaining in place; the acquisition expands Tube Bending's in-house capabilities (welding, orbital tube welding, precision machining, clean room) and strengthens its aerospace, defense, space and semiconductor supply-chain footprint.
