Eurobio Scientific Acquires GenDx (Genome Diagnostics B.V.)

Paris-based Eurobio Scientific has acquired all outstanding shares of Dutch transplant diagnostics specialist GenDx (Genome Diagnostics B.V.), following a share purchase agreement signed on August 17. The acquisition expands Eurobio's molecular diagnostics portfolio in transplantation and secures the company legacy with proceeds funding a GenDx foundation established by the founders.

QIAGEN Acquires Genoox

QIAGEN has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Genoox, the developer of the AI-powered Franklin clinical genomics platform, for $70 million in cash plus up to $10 million in milestone payments. The acquisition adds Genoox's cloud-based AI interpretation capabilities to QIAGEN Digital Insights, expanding QIAGEN's clinical genomics and diagnostic software offerings for labs and healthcare organizations worldwide.

Cisco to Acquire NeuralFabric to Expand Enterprise AI Capabilities

Cisco announced its intention to acquire NeuralFabric, a Seattle-area provider of enterprise AI platforms, to accelerate delivery of domain-specific (small language model) capabilities for enterprises. The company expects the acquisition to close in the second quarter of Cisco’s fiscal year 2026 and says NeuralFabric’s modular model-development tools will strengthen Cisco’s enterprise AI platform initiatives such as Cisco AI Canvas.

Genetic Technologies Acquires AffinityDNA Direct-to-Consumer Business

Genetic Technologies Limited (GENE) completed the acquisition of the direct-to-consumer eCommerce business and distribution rights of AffinityDNA, including websites, brand identities, laboratory testing and distribution agreements. The deal expands GENE’s direct-to-consumer channel and product portfolio across the US, UK and Europe, adding AffinityDNA’s consumer and pet genomics offerings to GENE’s geneType and EasyDNA brands.

Bionano Genomics Acquires BioDiscovery

Bionano Genomics agreed to acquire BioDiscovery, a provider of NxClinical genomics analysis software, in a deal worth up to $100 million in cash and equity. The acquisition will integrate BioDiscovery's platform-agnostic analysis and reporting tools with Bionano's optical genome mapping technology to accelerate variant analysis and broaden Bionano's market reach; BioDiscovery founder Soheil Shams will join Bionano as Chief Informatics Officer.

Intus Bio Acquires Pattern Genomics

Intus Biosciences (Intus Bio) has acquired Pattern Genomics, integrating Pattern's advanced genomic analysis and machine learning tools into Intus Bio's Titan-1 microbiome assay and analysis platform. The acquisition, supported by investor Connecticut Innovations, brings Pattern Genomics' founder Daniel Fasulo into Intus Bio as Head of IT and Bioinformatics to accelerate capability expansion and biomarker discovery across healthcare and pharmaceutical end markets.
