Cardinal Health to Acquire Solaris Health

Cardinal Health has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Solaris Health, a leading urology management services organization, from Lee Equity Partners and Solaris Health physician owners. The Specialty Alliance (Cardinal Health’s multi-specialty MSO platform) will add Solaris Health’s more than 750 providers and 250+ practice locations, with Cardinal Health funding the deal with approximately $1.9 billion in cash and new debt and owning about 75% of The Specialty Alliance post-close.

Cardinal Health has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Specialty Networks, a technology-enabled multi-specialty group purchasing and practice enhancement organization, from Linden Capital Partners for $1.2 billion in cash. The deal adds Specialty Networks' GPOs, PPS Analytics platform and life-sciences/research capabilities to Cardinal Health's Specialty business to accelerate capability expansion across urology, gastroenterology and rheumatology.
