DigitalBridge to Acquire Telenet's Mobile Telecommunications Tower Business in Belgium

DigitalBridge Investments, LLC (an affiliate of DigitalBridge Group) has agreed to acquire Telenet Group Holding NV’s mobile telecommunications tower business (“TowerCo”) for €745 million (cash-free, debt-free). The deal will create Belgium’s first independent TowerCo, giving DigitalBridge ownership of 100% of Telenet’s tower and passive infrastructure assets, with 3,322 sites nationwide.

DigitalBridge and Brookfield Infrastructure to Acquire 51% of GD Towers

DigitalBridge Group (NYSE: DBRG) and funds affiliated with its investment management arm, together with Brookfield Infrastructure and its institutional partners, have agreed to acquire a 51% ownership stake in GD Towers, the mobile telecommunications tower business of Deutsche Telekom AG. The transaction values GD Towers at €17.5 billion (including assumption of net debt) and is expected to close in late 2022, subject to regulatory approvals. Deutsche Telekom will retain a 49% minority stake after the deal closes.

PAI Partners to Acquire Majority Stake in Infra Group

The investment will make PAI the largest shareholder alongside existing investors ICG, Andera Partners and the management team, and will support Infra Group's growth strategy to accelerate expansion organically and via complementary acquisitions.

Cobalt Service Partners Acquires Digi Security Systems

Cobalt Service Partners, a commercial access solutions platform backed by Alpine Investors, acquired Digi Security Systems, a Tulsa-based commercial security integrator founded in 2003. Digi will remain led by its current executive team as it becomes part of the Cobalt platform; the deal expands Cobalt's footprint in Oklahoma and Texas and marks the platform's seventh acquisition since December 2023.

Igneo Infrastructure Partners Acquires US Signal

Igneo Infrastructure Partners has completed the acquisition of US Signal Company, LLC, a Grand Rapids–based provider of data center, connectivity, cloud hosting, colocation, and disaster recovery services. Igneo said the deal expands its North American digital infrastructure portfolio and will support investment and expansion of US Signal's data centers and 9,500-route-mile fiber network.
