Green Plains Inc. and Green Plains Partners LP completed a merger in which Green Plains acquired all publicly held common units of Green Plains Partners LP that it did not already own. The Partnership became an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Green Plains and its NASDAQ listing was set to end with deregistration under the Securities Exchange Act.

The transaction simplifies the corporate structure, enables a planned conversion from an MLP to a C‑Corp (Enviva Inc.), and is intended to lower Enviva’s cost of capital, expand its investor base, and retain incremental cash flow for growth.
