Griffon Corporation Acquires Hunter Fan Company

Griffon Corporation, through its subsidiary The AMES Companies, entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Hunter Fan Company for $845 million, subject to closing adjustments. The deal was structured to be immediately accretive and was financed with cash on hand and debt, and the acquisition was subsequently completed with Hunter joining Griffon’s Consumer and Professional Products segment.
