Brunswick Corporation’s Advanced Systems Group has acquired SemahTronix, a Flippin, Arkansas-based supplier of high-complexity electrical wiring harnesses for marine, mobile and defense markets. The acquisition will be integrated into Brunswick’s ASG to vertically integrate wiring harness capabilities, improve quality and lead times, and expand end-to-end systems offerings.

ASSA ABLOY Acquires Securitech Group Inc.

ASSA ABLOY has acquired Securitech Group Inc., a U.S. manufacturer of high-security mechanical and electronic door hardware based in Maspeth, Queens, New York. Securitech generated roughly $16 million in sales in 2022, employs about 50 people, and the acquisition is intended to expand ASSA ABLOY's product portfolio and strengthen its position in mature, high-security end markets.

Hitachi Acquires GlobalLogic

Hitachi, Ltd., through its U.S. subsidiary Hitachi Global Digital Holdings (HGDH), acquired GlobalLogic, a Silicon Valley–headquartered digital engineering services firm, in a transaction announced March 31, 2021 and completed July 14, 2021. The deal valued GlobalLogic at $8.5 billion of equity ($9.5 billion enterprise value) and expands Hitachi's Lumada digital solutions capabilities by adding GlobalLogic's ~21,000 engineering and design professionals.

HMH Holdings B.V. Acquires Electrical Subsea & Drilling AS (ESD)

HMH Holdings B.V. completed the acquisition of Electrical Subsea & Drilling AS (ESD), a Bergen, Norway–based developer of patented subsea drilling and pressure-control technologies. The purchase brings ESD's electronic blowout preventer and rotating control device IP into HMH's subsea drilling equipment portfolio to accelerate capability development and commercial deployment.
