Hitachi, Ltd acquired Flexware Innovation, a manufacturing systems integrator and Industry 4.0 consultancy, to strengthen its MES, SCADA, software development, BI and ERP implementation capabilities and accelerate shop‑floor-to‑enterprise digitalization in North America. Flexware founder Scott Whitlock will remain President & CEO, and 7 Mile Advisors acted as exclusive sell‑side advisor to Flexware.
