Hy-Tek Holdings, a portfolio company of Dunes Point Capital, has acquired Advanced Handling Systems (AHS), a material handling automation integrator based in Erlanger, Kentucky. AHS operates two U.S. facilities, employs about 90 people, and focuses on robotic solutions and full-service systems integration to serve end markets such as e-commerce, third-party logistics, and parcel.

Crane 1 Services Acquires Hoist & Crane Systems (Asset Purchase)

The asset purchase, sponsored by private equity backer L Squared Capital, expands Crane 1's service footprint into the greater Charlotte / Carolinas market and brings nearly 30 H&C employees and fabrication, inspection and maintenance capabilities into the Crane 1 platform.

HKW Acquires Electric Equipment & Engineering Co.

HKW, a middle-market private equity firm, has acquired Electric Equipment & Engineering Co. (EEE), a Denver-based designer and manufacturer of electrical power distribution products serving data centers, telecommunications, broadband and utilities. The company was owned by the third-generation Morroni family prior to the transaction; financial terms were not disclosed and financing was provided by Barings and Siguler Guff.

RailWorks Corp. Acquires H&H Engineering Construction
