Howmet Aerospace to Acquire Consolidated Aerospace Manufacturing from Stanley Black & Decker

Howmet Aerospace has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Consolidated Aerospace Manufacturing (CAM) from Stanley Black & Decker for approximately $1.8 billion in an all-cash deal. The acquisition is intended to expand Howmet’s aerospace fastening systems business by adding CAM’s precision fasteners, fluid fittings, and other highly engineered components.

Sandvik AB has signed an agreement to acquire Canada-based ICAM Technologies Corporation, a provider of post-processing, machine simulation and tool-path optimization software for CNC machining. ICAM (founded in Montreal in 1971) will be reported within Sandvik Coromant; the company has about 27 employees and 2020 revenues of roughly SEK 30 million. The deal is expected to close in Q4 2021 and strengthens Sandvik's verification and optimization offering for component manufacturing.

The Tulsa-based FAA Part 145 repair station — which employs 36 people and performs proprietary FAA-DER repairs for commercial and cargo airlines — will continue operating in its current location with founder David Campbell remaining as VP and General Manager; the Campbell family retains ownership stakes.
