Hudbay Minerals to Acquire Arizona Sonoran Copper Co. in All-Stock Deal

Hudbay Minerals Inc. has signed a deal to acquire Arizona Sonoran Copper Co. Inc. in an all-stock transaction valued at about US$1.48 billion. Hudbay will pay 0.242 of a Hudbay share for each Arizona Sonoran share it does not already own, combining Arizona Sonoran’s Cactus project with Hudbay’s existing Arizona assets.
