I Squared Capital formed a new digital infrastructure platform, Ezee Fiber, through its ISQ Global Infrastructure Fund III and announced the platform’s inaugural acquisition of ICTX WaveMedia, a 2,000-kilometer carrier-grade fiber connectivity provider serving the Houston metro area. Ezee Fiber—led by CEO Scott Widham—will leverage ICTX WaveMedia’s existing fiber to expand residential, enterprise, government and education broadband services across underserved Texas markets.

Ezee Fiber Acquires Tachus Fiber Internet

Ezee Fiber, a Houston-based fiber internet provider wholly owned by I Squared Capital, closed its previously announced agreement to acquire Tachus Fiber Internet. The deal expands Ezee Fiber’s all-fiber footprint deeper into the northern communities of Greater Houston, with expectations to grow to more than 600,000 fiber passings by year-end.

Zayo Group Holdings, Inc. completed the acquisition of Indiana Fiber Network, LLC d/b/a Intelligent Fiber Network (IFN), adding more than 5,000 route miles of dense fiber and on‑net connectivity to nearly 1,000 enterprise buildings across Indiana. The deal expands Zayo’s Indiana footprint to over 7,500 route miles and is Zayo’s 46th acquisition and its first under private ownership led by EQT Partners and Digital Colony Partners.

SDC Capital Partners Acquires Majority Stake in IQ Fiber

MetroNet Acquires Vexus Fiber
