IBM Acquires Taos to Boost Hybrid Cloud Consulting Capability

IBM agreed to acquire Taos, a multi-cloud consulting and managed services provider headquartered in San Jose, California, to strengthen IBM's hybrid cloud consulting, migration and managed services capabilities. Financial terms were not disclosed; the deal was announced in January 2021 (expected to close Q1 2021). Taos brings deep public-cloud partnerships (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure) and experience across technology, financial services, healthcare, retail, transportation and education.
