Intel to Sell 10% Stake in IMS Nanofabrication to TSMC for $430 Million

Intel agreed to sell a 10% minority stake in its IMS Nanofabrication business to Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) in a deal valued at about $430 million. The investment values IMS at roughly $4.3 billion, with Intel retaining majority ownership as IMS continues operating as a standalone subsidiary under CEO Dr. Elmar Platzgummer.
