Delmas Investissements & Participations, a French family investment group, has agreed to acquire a majority stake in Acces Industrie from Equistone Partners Europe. Acces Industrie is an independent rental specialist of mobile aerial work platforms and handling equipment that grew to ~650 employees and €140m revenue under Equistone; Delmas says it will consolidate the group's regional roots and pursue national and international development.

Cibes Lift Group Acquires Area Access Inc

Swedish elevator manufacturer Cibes Lift Group has acquired Virginia-based Area Access Inc, a distributor and service provider of residential vertical lifts in the US Mid-Atlantic. Area Access (56 employees) will become a wholly owned subsidiary while maintaining its brand and local management, strengthening Cibes' US presence as its fourth American addition.

Angeles Equity Partners Acquires Acieta From Mitsui

An affiliate of Angeles Equity Partners has acquired Acieta LLC, a Midwest-based industrial robotics manufacturer and integrator, from Mitsui & Co. (U.S.A.), Inc. The deal expands Angeles' robotics integration platform (which includes RōBEX, Mid-State Engineering, and +Vantage), adding Acieta's manufacturing capacity, equipment-tending, welding, and palletizing capabilities to serve end markets such as agriculture, welding/fabrication, and construction; terms were not disclosed.

TowerBrook Capital Partners Acquires Uperio

TowerBrook Capital Partners has agreed to acquire Uperio, the specialist group for rental, distribution and services of tower cranes formed from the merger of Matebat (France) and Arcomet (Belgium). Sellers include the LFPI group (with Sofina and Gigarant) and management; the deal is subject to regulatory approval and is intended to support Uperio's continued international expansion.
