Virtana has acquired cloud-native and Kubernetes observability platform OpsCruise to extend its hybrid and multi-cloud observability capabilities. The deal brings OpsCruise's AI/ML-based behavior profiling and open-source telemetry collection into the Virtana Platform to improve Kubernetes, containers, and serverless monitoring for enterprise customers.

IBM Acquires Instana

IBM announced a definitive agreement to acquire Instana, an application performance monitoring and observability company headquartered in Chicago, to strengthen IBM's hybrid cloud and AI-powered automation capabilities.
