The purchase strengthens Colavita's position in the U.S. Italian specialty foods market and will leverage Colavita's distribution network to increase Luigi Vitelli's reach.

Benford Capital partnered on the transaction; New Mountain Capital participated in acquiring Joseph's real estate assets and Joseph's was acquired from LaSalle Capital.
