Zebra Technologies Acquires Matrox Imaging

Zebra Technologies announced the acquisition of Matrox Imaging (Matrox Electronic Systems Ltd.), a developer of machine vision hardware and software, for $875 million to broaden its industrial machine vision and automation offerings. The deal expands Zebra’s software, machine learning and fixed industrial scanning capabilities and is expected to close in 2022 after customary approvals.

Marquis Acquires ZAG Interactive

Marquis Software Solutions, a Plano-based financial marketing and compliance software and services provider backed by Rockbridge Growth Equity, has acquired ZAG Interactive, a Glastonbury, Connecticut-based website design and digital marketing firm that serves community banks and credit unions. The acquisition will combine Marquis' data analytics and compliance capabilities with ZAG's website, SEO, PPC and social media services to expand Marquis' marketing services for financial institutions; terms were not disclosed.
