Zebra Technologies Acquires Matrox Imaging

Zebra Technologies announced the acquisition of Matrox Imaging (Matrox Electronic Systems Ltd.), a developer of machine vision hardware and software, for $875 million to broaden its industrial machine vision and automation offerings. The deal expands Zebra’s software, machine learning and fixed industrial scanning capabilities and is expected to close in 2022 after customary approvals.
