ZEISS Acquires Ncam Technologies

ZEISS has acquired UK-based Ncam Technologies Ltd to integrate Ncam’s hybrid camera-tracking technology into ZEISS’s cinema product and lens-data ecosystem, enhancing offerings for cinema, broadcast, virtual production and visual effects workflows. Ncam, founded in 2012 with offices in London and Los Angeles, will work with ZEISS to expand customer support and product capabilities with an upgrade path for existing Ncam users.

Sandvik AB has signed an agreement to acquire Canada-based ICAM Technologies Corporation, a provider of post-processing, machine simulation and tool-path optimization software for CNC machining. ICAM (founded in Montreal in 1971) will be reported within Sandvik Coromant; the company has about 27 employees and 2020 revenues of roughly SEK 30 million. The deal is expected to close in Q4 2021 and strengthens Sandvik's verification and optimization offering for component manufacturing.
