Blue Point Capital Acquires Water Lilies Food

Blue Point Capital Partners has acquired Water Lilies Food, LLC, a Bay Shore, New York-based manufacturer and distributor of premium frozen Asian-inspired cuisine, in a transaction with sellers including AUA Private Equity Partners; Water Lilies CEO Peter Lee is retaining a significant ownership stake. Blue Point will partner with the Water Lilies management team and deploy its food-and-beverage operating resources (including appointed operating executives) to support growth, capability expansion and add-on acquisition efforts.

Blue Road Capital Acquires NatureSweet from Silver Ventures

Blue Road Capital, an investment firm focused on vertically integrated food and agriculture businesses, has acquired NatureSweet (NS Brands, Ltd.), the largest vertically integrated greenhouse-grown produce company in North America, from Silver Ventures for an undisclosed sum. NatureSweet grows, harvests, and packages tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers across more than 1,400 acres and employs over 6,000 people, with products sold through major supermarkets across the United States, Mexico, and Canada.

Aurora Capital Partners Acquires Universal Pure

Aurora Capital Partners has acquired Universal Pure Holdings, LLC, the largest independent provider of high-pressure processing (HPP) and cold-chain food safety services in North America, from Tilia Holdings. Universal Pure, headquartered in Lincoln, Nebraska, operates ~20 HPP machines across eight U.S. facilities (1.1 million sq. ft.) and ~800 employees; terms were not disclosed.

Lee Equity Partners Invests in Pure Financial Advisors

East Range Partners Acquires Pure Flow, Inc.
