Novvia Group, a Kelso & Company-backed national rigid container and life sciences packaging distributor based in St. Louis, acquired Northern Container, a rigid packaging distributor operating a 35,000 sq. ft. facility in Alsip, Illinois. Financial terms were not disclosed; the deal expands Novvia's Midwest footprint and augments its product and service capabilities (next-day delivery, steel/plastic pails, paint cans, bottles and jars).

Novvia Group, a Kelso & Company–backed packaging platform, has acquired Southern Container, LLC, a distributor of plastic, metal, fiber, and glass rigid packaging products headquartered in Dalton, Georgia. Southern Container's existing management will remain in place as the company becomes part of Novvia's national distribution platform to strengthen its Southeast presence and service capabilities.

Kelso & Company Acquires Silver Spur Corporation and Combines It with C.L. Smith and Inmark

Funds managed by Kelso & Company acquired Silver Spur Corporation, a Cerritos, California-based stocking distributor of specialty glass and plastic packaging. Kelso will combine Silver Spur with its existing portfolio companies C.L.
