Kioxia Holdings Corporation entered into a definitive agreement with Toshiba Digital Solutions Corporation to acquire all outstanding shares of Chubu Toshiba Engineering Corporation (CTE). The acquisition is intended to strengthen Kioxia’s in-house semiconductor engineering and technology development capabilities, while improving cost efficiencies and enabling synergies across design, operation, and production of its manufacturing plants.
