KKR and Hero Group Invest $450M in Hero Future Energies

KKR and the Hero Group agreed to invest $450 million in Hero Future Energies to support the company’s growth and expansion of renewable energy capacity across solar, wind, battery storage and green hydrogen. Hero Future Energies, an independent power producer with ~1.6 GW of operating solar and wind projects, will use the capital to scale projects, expand into new technologies and enter new markets; IFC remains an existing investor.
