KKR and T-Mobile Joint Venture Acquires Metronet

Metronet announced definitive agreements to sell the company to a joint venture between KKR and T-Mobile. After closing on July 24, 2025, Metronet became a wholesale internet services provider for its residential customers, with T-Mobile Fiber taking responsibility for residential customer acquisition, support, and customer experience, while Metronet continues to build and operate fiber infrastructure and retain its commercial services business.
