Utilligent announced a merger with Quantitative Business Analytics (QBA), bringing QBA’s smart meter data, meter data management (MDM) and analytics expertise into Utilligent’s utility-focused consulting practice. QBA founder Gerry Metzler will join Utilligent as executive vice president of smart infrastructure and technology to expand Utilligent’s capabilities in MDM deployments, grid analytics and photovoltaic/forecasting solutions.
