The deal adds roughly 600 engineers, expands Qualitest's US footprint with new test labs in California and Washington, and broadens capabilities in AR/VR/XR, IoT/smart device testing, and AI data assurance.

Hexagon AB acquired ETQ, a Massachusetts-based provider of SaaS quality (QMS), EHS and compliance management software, for $1.2 billion in cash on a debt- and cash-free basis. ETQ—headquartered in Burlington, Massachusetts with ~185 employees and expected 2022 revenue of ~$75M—will join Hexagon’s Manufacturing Intelligence division to accelerate Hexagon’s cloud journey and expand its quality-management capabilities across manufacturing and regulated industries.

SmartBear Acquires Bugsnag
