Bain Capital Private Equity signed a definitive agreement to acquire a controlling stake in the Engineering Group, the leading Italian IT services and digital transformation business, from funds advised by Apax Partners and Neuberger Berman. Neuberger Berman will reinvest alongside Bain Capital; the transaction remains subject to regulatory approvals. Engineering is headquartered in Rome and employs more than 11,000 professionals across multiple countries.
