Ronnoco Beverage Solutions Acquires Trident Beverage

Ronnoco Beverage Solutions, the Huron Capital-backed beverage platform, has acquired Houston-based Trident Beverage, a provider of dispensed beverages and dispensing equipment for K-12, convenience and foodservice channels. The deal—Ronnoco's ninth add-on under Huron Capital's ExecFactor strategy—keeps founders John and Patrick Walker with an ownership stake and aims to expand Ronnoco's frozen/cold beverage offerings and geographic/service footprint.

Mars Acquires Trü Frü

Mars, Incorporated has signed an agreement to acquire Trü Frü, a better-for-you whole-fruit snacking brand, from its founders and management team. Trü Frü, headquartered in West Valley City, Utah with approximately 50 employees, will operate as a separate business within Mars to preserve its brand and will be led by current CEO Brian Neville; the transaction is expected to close in Q1 2023.

BRIX Holdings Acquires Clean Juice

BRIX Holdings, a Dallas-based multi-brand franchising company, has acquired all assets of Clean Juice, the USDA-certified organic juice bar franchise founded by Landon and Kat Eckles. The deal brings more than 75 existing Clean Juice locations (plus 10+ in development) into BRIX’s portfolio, expanding the company's national footprint of brands to over 300 locations.

The investment coincides with the appointment of Dave Burwick as CEO and is intended to provide financial and operational resources to accelerate the brand's growth; the deal is expected to close in Q1 2025 (terms not disclosed).
