Triton has merged four of its portfolio companies—AVS Group, Chevron TM, Fero Group and Ramudden—into a single group to create an international leader in traffic and critical infrastructure safety services. The consolidation combines local market leaders across Germany, the UK, Belgium and the Nordics to drive international growth, operational synergies and further consolidation in the sector; combined sales are stated at more than EUR 450m.

Ramudden Global (Triton) Acquires Curtin Co. and Carolina Traffic Devices

Ramudden Global, a portfolio company of Triton Fund IV, has acquired Curtin Co., LLC and Carolina Traffic Devices, LLC, strengthening its road and urban safety infrastructure capabilities in the southeastern United States. The deal expands Ramudden Global's temporary traffic management and heavy-highway installation footprint across key US markets.

Ramudden Global Acquires RSG International

Ramudden AS Acquires Veidrift AS from Roadworks

Ramudden AS has signed an agreement to acquire Veidrift AS from Roadworks (majority owned by Norvestor), combining capabilities to create the leading road work zone safety solutions provider in Norway. The transaction is intended to strengthen competence and capacity across both businesses and consolidate market position in the Norwegian road-safety services market.

Triton Combines Assemblin and Caverion to Form Assemblin Caverion Group

Triton is combining its portfolio companies Assemblin and Caverion into the newly formed Assemblin Caverion Group, creating a leading Northern European technical service and installation business. The combined group will be incorporated in Sweden, operate across around ten countries, generate roughly EUR 3.8 billion (SEK 43.5 billion) in annual turnover and employ about 21,900 people; leadership will be drawn from both businesses with Assemblin CEO Mats Johansson as Group CEO.

Triton (via Rebecca BidCo) Acquires Majority Stake in RENK AG

Triton V, through its subsidiary Rebecca BidCo, signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in RENK AG from Volkswagen Vermögensverwaltungs-GmbH and other shareholders, valuing VW’s 76% stake at €97.80 per share. The transaction completed in October 2020 after a voluntary public takeover offer that secured an additional ~14.2% of shares; RENK AG (headquartered in Augsburg, Germany) will be a Triton portfolio company focused on expanding its technology leadership and digitalisation initiatives.
