nVent Acquires Trachte from Palladium for $695 Million

nVent Electric plc has acquired the parent of Trachte, LLC for $695 million, subject to customary adjustments. Trachte, a manufacturer of custom-engineered control buildings headquartered in Wisconsin with more than 500 employees and estimated 2024 revenue of ~$250 million, will be operated within nVent's Enclosures segment to expand its systems protection and enclosures capabilities across utilities, data centers and renewables.

Trachte, LLC has acquired Parkline, Inc., a manufacturer of custom engineered modular metal buildings headquartered in Eleanor, West Virginia. The acquisition is supported by Palladium Equity Partners (Trachte's sponsor) and represents an add-on to Trachte's platform, combining manufacturing capacity and expanding capabilities across data center, energy, utility and industrial end markets. Summit Park sold Parkline and will roll equity into the transaction.

Trachte Building Systems Acquires Roof Mart LLC

Trachte Building Systems, an employee-owned manufacturer of pre-engineered steel structures based in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, has acquired Roof Mart LLC, a Vernon, Alabama-based designer and manufacturer of metal roofing systems and wall panels. The acquisition gives Trachte a manufacturing facility in the Southeastern U.S., expands its fabrication capabilities, and broadens its access to new customers and end markets.

Trachte Building Systems Acquires MakoRabco from New State Capital Partners

Trachte Building Systems, a Sun Prairie, Wisconsin-based manufacturer of pre‑engineered metal self-storage systems, has acquired MakoRabco, a Carlsbad, California provider of design, supply and construction services for self‑storage and pre‑engineered metal buildings. The deal, in which New State Capital Partners sold MakoRabco, aims to combine complementary capabilities and expand market presence across the U.S.; terms were not disclosed.

Platinum Equity Acquires Majority Interest in Kohler Energy from Kohler Co.

Platinum Equity has closed the transaction to acquire a majority interest in Kohler Energy from Kohler Co., establishing Kohler Energy as an independent, standalone business. Kohler Co. remains an investment partner, Brian Melka will serve as CEO and David Kohler will sit on the board; financial terms were not disclosed. Platinum Equity said it will invest in growth and operational initiatives to accelerate Kohler Energy's position in the global energy resilience market.

Strength Capital Partners Acquires Truesdell Corporation

Strength Capital Partners has acquired Truesdell Corporation, a Tempe, Arizona–headquartered provider of concrete infrastructure maintenance, repair and safety enhancement services. Terms were not disclosed; Strength will support Truesdell's growth through organic initiatives and a buy-and-build strategy supported by financing from First Merchants Bank, Northcreek Mezzanine and Midwest Mezzanine. Peninsula Capital Partners was the selling investor and D.A. Davidson served as financial advisor to Peninsula and Truesdell.
