SER Capital Partners has committed $82 million to invest in Brightcore Energy to expand the company’s balance sheet and accelerate deployment of clean energy and efficiency projects. The growth capital will enable Brightcore to scale its Efficiency-as-a-Service offerings — including solar, LED lighting, HVAC/geothermal, EV charging and battery storage — and pursue additional project financing and acquisitions.

Palladium Equity Partners Acquires Superior Environmental Solutions

Palladium Equity Partners has acquired Superior Environmental Solutions (SES) from Rosewood Private Investments. SES, headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, provides industrial and environmental services including emergency response, hydro-blasting, vacuum truck services, product destruction, recycling and waste disposal across more than 25 locations and employs over 500 people; Palladium said it will partner with SES management to pursue organic and inorganic growth in a fragmented market.

HCAP Partners and Champlain Capital Invest in Simplified E‑Solutions

HCAP Partners has made a growth equity investment in Simplified E‑Solutions (SES), a Hazelwood, Missouri–based zero waste to landfill material processing and management company; Champlain Capital led the transaction. The capital will be used to accelerate SES’s growth, expand its zero‑waste services to new geographies and customers, and support job creation and operations expansion; terms were not disclosed.

EnergySolutions Acquires Cabrera Services Inc.

EnergySolutions, a portfolio company of TriArtisan Capital Advisors, has completed the acquisition of Cabrera Services Inc., a Connecticut-based provider of environmental and radiological remediation services. Cabrera will be integrated into EnergySolutions' federal program to expand the company's federal remediation and project execution capabilities.

Ara Partners Acquires Majority Stake in Path Environmental Technology

Ara Partners, a private equity firm focused on industrial decarbonization, has made a majority investment in Path Environmental Technology, a Houston-based industrial services provider that cleans above-ground storage tanks and rail tank cars using proprietary, emissions-reducing technology. Ara Partners will provide growth capital to further develop Path's technology, expand the team and geographic footprint, and pursue platform-building through organic growth and strategic acquisitions; Sweat Equity Partners remains a significant equity holder.
