Angstrom Technology (ASGARD-backed) Acquires Specific Environments Limited

ASGARD Partners’ portfolio company Angstrom Technology has acquired UK-based Specific Environments Limited (SEL) to expand its European footprint and add specialized cleanroom design and engineering capabilities. The deal is the third add-on to the Angstrom platform in six months and will allow the combined business to better serve life sciences, biotech, pharmaceutical and NHS customers with integrated design, build, compliance and maintenance services.

The acquisition expands Angstrom's geographic footprint into Europe, broadens its capabilities (including C2C's e-commerce consumables platform), and will retain C2C's CEO Joe Govier and existing management.

Angstrom Automotive Group Acquires General Aluminum Mfg. Company from Park-Ohio

Angstrom Automotive Group LLC acquired General Aluminum Mfg. Company (the Aluminum Products business) from Park-Ohio Holdings Corp., in a completed divestiture announced in early January 2024. Park-Ohio said the sale will help deleverage its balance sheet and reduce capital intensity while Angstrom expands its aluminum casting and machining footprint across U.S. and Mexico facilities.

ASGARD Partners & Merit Capital Acquire Revision Military Eyewear Business

ASGARD Partners & Co. and Merit Capital Partners have acquired the protective eyewear product line and related assets of Revision Military Ltd., including the Revision name, a 53,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Essex, Vermont, and approximately 130 employees. Merit provided subordinated debt and equity as part of the investment; ASGARD will lead the separated eyewear business and work with existing management to pursue growth and capability expansion in military and allied defense markets.

Shore Rock Partners and Carlson Private Capital Back AMAG Technology; Allied Universal Retains Minority Stake

Shore Rock Partners acquired a controlling stake in AMAG Technology, a Hawthorne, California–based provider of physical access control, identity and video management solutions, in a deal completed with co-investment and support from Carlson Private Capital Partners and BellTower Partners. Allied Universal retains a significant minority interest and AMAG’s management will continue leading the business as the new ownership group supports increased product investment and growth focused on mission-critical end markets such as data centers, healthcare, and education.
