MSG Distributors, Inc. completed an all-cash acquisition of Boxed.com and related intellectual property and affiliates from Boxed, Inc.'s estate. The deal gives MSG the Boxed brand, site and IP and is intended to expand MSG's distribution, fulfillment and e-commerce capabilities nationwide while preserving service for Boxed customers and vendors.

GMF Capital Acquires Motorsport Network Media LLC

GMF Capital, the single-family office of Gary Fegel, has acquired a controlling majority stake in Motorsport Network Media LLC, a global digital motorsport and automotive media platform, for an undisclosed amount with an option to buy remaining minority interests later. The deal transfers nearly 50 flagship motorsport and automotive digital properties (including Motorsport.com, Autosport, Motor1.com, InsideEVs.com and Motorsport.tv) to GMF as it expands into the sports, automotive and media sector.

Yankee Global Enterprises and Partners Acquire YES Network from The Walt Disney Company

Yankee Global Enterprises, together with strategic partners Sinclair Broadcast Group and Amazon and financial investors RedBird Capital, Blackstone Tactical Opportunities and Mubadala Capital, purchased the 80% of the YES Network not already held by Yankee Global from The Walt Disney Company at a reported enterprise value of $3.47 billion. The consortium aims to expand distribution, strengthen the network's sports content capabilities and leverage partner expertise to grow YES across traditional and digital platforms.

MSP Sports Capital Acquires Majority Interest in X Games from ESPN

MSP Sports Capital acquired a majority (controlling) interest in the X Games from ESPN Productions, Inc., with ESPN retaining a minority, non-controlling stake and remaining the domestic linear broadcast partner under a multi-year agreement. MSP will assume day-to-day operational control of the X Games, appointing Steven Flisler as CEO, and has enlisted Tony Hawk as a brand steward as it seeks to reinvigorate the action-sports property and expand fan experiences.

Entertainment Studios Acquires 10 Television Stations from MSouth Equity Partners
