IAA, Inc. Acquires Auto Exchange (Marisat, Inc.)

IAA, Inc. acquired the entirety of the assets of Marisat, Inc. d/b/a Auto Exchange, a regional salvage-recovery and vehicle remarketing business in New Jersey. Financial terms were not disclosed; IAA said the acquisition expands its physical presence in New Jersey and it will operate Auto Exchange going forward while welcoming CEO Christine Palfrey and her colleagues to the IAA team.

Headquartered in Austin, Texas, IAS operates with more than 500 employees and a distribution network of over 4,300 dealer relationships; iA said the deal strengthens its U.S. warranty capabilities and positions the combined business for growth in a fragmented market.
