OIA Global has acquired Australian freight forwarders BTi Logistics and Airmark Ocean & Air Logistics to establish and strengthen its Oceania footprint across Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. The purchases expand OIA’s capabilities in freight forwarding, 3PL/warehousing and specialized air/ocean logistics across automotive, healthcare, energy and industrial end markets.

Ritchie Bros. Acquires IAA, Inc.

Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers Incorporated completed its acquisition of IAA, Inc. on March 20, 2023, in a deal in which IAA shareholders received $12.80 in cash and 0.5252 Ritchie Bros. common shares per IAA share. The transaction combines two leading vehicle and equipment marketplaces to expand Ritchie Bros.' digital marketplace capabilities and broaden its global footprint; IAA common stock ceased trading following the close.

OIA Global Acquires JF Moran

The deal expands OIA's footprint and capabilities in customs brokerage, foreign-trade-zone services, and regulatory trade compliance across key end markets including retail, energy and automotive.

World Insurance Associates Acquires Airways International Insurance Services

World Insurance Associates LLC (WIA), a Top 100 insurance brokerage based in Tinton Falls, New Jersey, acquired Airways International Insurance Services LLC (AIIS) of Mickleton, New Jersey on May 1, 2020; terms were not disclosed. The acquisition brings AIIS's aviation and marine insurance expertise and team into WIA as part of WIA's ongoing roll-up strategy to expand its capabilities and end-market coverage.

AIT Worldwide Logistics Acquires Select Express & Logistics

AIT Worldwide Logistics has agreed to acquire New York–based Select Express & Logistics, a national final-mile 3PL specializing in white-glove delivery and assembly of big and bulky goods. The deal, which is an add-on to AIT (a portfolio company of The Jordan Company), expands AIT's end-to-end import-to-door capabilities and final-mile assembly capacity; LongueVue Capital exits Select as part of the transaction.

Forward Air Acquires J&P Hall Express

Forward Air Corporation agreed to acquire the assets of J&P Hall Express, a privately held expedited transportation provider headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. The asset purchase (expected to close in May 2021) expands Forward Air's LTL pickup-and-delivery footprint in southern Georgia and northern Florida, adding approximately $15.8 million in annual revenue, ~70 trucks and about 110 employees.
