ScaleCo Management LLC has made a platform investment in Total Procurement Intelligence (TPI Efficiency), a Cleveland-based energy procurement and utility consulting firm founded in 2009 by Roger Zona. The investment (ScaleCo's 22nd platform and third from Fund IV) will provide capital and operational support to expand TPI Efficiency's energy procurement, efficiency services, and LED lighting offerings nationwide.

Amplix Acquires Twin Lights Group

Amplix, a Gemspring Capital portfolio company, has acquired Twin Lights Group, a South Plainfield, New Jersey-based technology advisory and network implementation firm. Terms were not disclosed; the deal brings Twin Lights’ advisory capabilities and ~140 enterprise and SMB customers onto the Amplix platform as an add-on to expand its IT advisory and infrastructure services.

LPi, headquartered in the Milwaukee area, is a leading provider of advertising-supported print and digital bulletins and newsletters for faith-based, community, and membership organizations across the U.S.; SGP said it will support LPi’s technology investments to expand its impact.

Lumaverse Technologies Acquires ClubExpress

Lumaverse Technologies, a portfolio company of L Squared Capital Partners and PSG, has acquired ClubExpress, a SaaS provider of association and club management software used by more than 2,000 organizations. 85 Advisors served as exclusive financial advisor to ClubExpress; financial terms were not disclosed. The deal is an add-on for Lumaverse to expand its group-management product suite and membership, event and payment capabilities.

IXL Learning Acquires Teachers Pay Teachers
